The Beginning

Your RJS Gifts is a seed getting ready to blossom, just like the spring is blossoming into flowers and sunshine. I am the "J" in RJS. "R" and I have been putting together an e-commerce store, where we intend to sell gifts for all occasions and many other items for the home, both inside and out. Since we are new at this, we were not sure what to expect. We had some ideas of the things we would need to do, but as time has gone on, we have learned more and more. This is not a simple endeavor. Of course the first thing you learn , in a hurry, is everything costs money. And most of the time, not just a little. Since we knew the idea of programming a web store was well over our heads we hired a web design company to actually do the programming and design using our criteria. This has worked out. We got a Logo designed, it's really nice, you will see it in future blogs and of course at the store when it is finally on line. We have the overall set-up of the home page done. Only have to plan 'pathways and things like that' for forwarding to other sections of the store. That will take a lot of work, but we are up to it. Meantime in the background more programming is going on.
